Programmer/Developer

# of Openings: 1 (Part-Time)
Location: Tampa, Florida (in office in Ybor City)
Description:

This position is for an in-house developer to execute programming projects on our in-house websites as well as on client projects. The types of projects taken on will vary quite a bit. All projects will be done using PHP/MySQL. Proficiency in HTML, Javascript also a must.

It is important that the person filling this position be a skilled online developer, but have a good all-around knowledge of the internet from a practical standpoint. In short, we do not want a super geek who knows nothing but code. We need a person who can investigate a problem and find a workable solution.

Requirements:
  • Excellent skill in PHP/MySQL development (provable with a past record of projects)
  • Good working knowledge of HTML, Javascript and all technologies needed to put up a website.
  • Good practical knowledge of the internet, trends, techniques, etc.
  • Strong drive to complete targets quickly
  • Solid organization skills.
  • Problem solving skills, ability to investigate an issue and recommend a workable solution
  • Strong interest in technology and the internet.
Compensation: $25/hour, negotiable

Internet Marketing

# of Openings: 1
Location: United States. Base in Tampa, Florida is a plus but not required.
Description: This person will be responsible for all marketing efforts of PC Media, including site promotion, ad campaigns, promotional email ad copy, link exchange and other marketing strategies we may employ. The primary goal is increased traffic to our web properties, increased clientele and general increase of statistics across the organizational divisions.
Requirements:
  • Adequate knowledge of internet technology and related technologies
  • Experience with HTML (using Dreamweaver, Frontpage or other suitable program)
  • Good use of the English language (spelling and grammar)
  • Working knowledge of and experience with internet marketing methods, technologies
  • Outgoing personality, good communication skills
  • Imagination and drive to devise new marketing initiatives and follow through
Compensation: Base salary + percent of statistical increase due to promotional efforts
